How it works?
The Scanfex is made up of scanner for profile samples and PC software for controlled dimensions extraction and analysis. Depending on the typical sample size and inspection conditions, several scanner versions are available.

The software is divided into two parts. The first of them is meant for creating templates - measurement assignments for profiles to be controlled. The measurement itself is conducted in the second one.
Template designer

Template designer is used for setting up controlled dimensions and corresponding tolerances for each individual type of profile that you need to measure. All this information is stored in drawing-based templates that are subsequently used for geometry control procedure.

Comparator
Comparator performs analysis of profile controlled dimensions, that were previously specified in the Template designer. Beside such template-assisted automated geometry control one can also take advantage of presented manual tools in order to make some in-depth measurements of any specific sample cross-section details.

The whole measurement procedure is as simple as putting the sample into the scanner and clicking the mouse button. Once corresponding template is found, all information on controlled dimensions state is presented visually on the display with an option of generating PDF report.
Another representation of possible sample geometry imperfections - colored deviation map. It shows explicitly specific sample areas that are deviated mostly from its original design.

All acquired measurements are stored in the database and can be fetched at any moment for reccurent analysis, manual re-measurement or report generation.
